As part of LTG Cargo westward diversification, LTG Cargo Polska, the Polish subsidiary of LTG Cargo, a freight forwarding company of LTG Group, from the 1st of October will be headed by Laimonas Nekrošius, who has headed the sales and development of LTG Cargo services for more than two years.

L. Nekrošius replaces Mindaugas Skunčikas, the Head of Intermodality and International Business Development at LTG Cargo, who has been temporarily in charge of LTG Cargo Polska for the past two years, and who is also a member of the board of the subsidiary in Poland.

“LTG Cargo Polska was established in 2020 to expand into Western markets. We are pleased that LTG Cargo Polska has grown over these four years to become a serious market player in a business environment where more than 20 rail carriers are competing. The new CEO of the company is expected to further expand the business and contribute to the diversification of LTG Cargo’s activities by developing new routes and destinations to the West, expanding the range of services most suited to the customers’ needs. Laimonas’ experience in sales, knowledge of operations and focus on efficiency are the perfect starting point to achieve ambitious goals,” says Eglė Šimė, CEO at LTG Cargo.

“LTG Cargo Polska has already reached the stage of maturity, when it is necessary to implement innovative processes and IT systems, and build a base of trusted partners and customers in order for the organisation to flourish. My main goal will be to apply the best practices and experience I have accumulated to ensure the targeted and ambitious development of the group of LTG Cargo in the Western markets. For me, this is another challenge that allows you to show what you are worth and to continue to develop, learn, and grow,” says Laimonas Nekrošius.
