Slawkow-Pruszkow-Kaunas intermodal service connects Central Europe and Baltic countries. To strengthen rail links with Poland, we are improving and expanding our intermodal services – from now on, trains on the Kaunas-Slawkow route will run with an intermediate stop in the Pruszkow.
Slawkow Euroterminal is situated close to Katowice, is an important hub of Poland’s broad gauge railway network, which connects the railway lines between Lithuania and Poland and Ukraine and Poland. Freight trains also run regularly from this terminal to Schwarzheide in Germany, to Maddaloni in Italy, to Koper in Slovenia and to Gdansk in Poland.
Kaunas one of the main Lithuanian cities – which opens the way to whole region of Baltic Countries. Due to Kaunas Intermodal Terminal location, it will open the opportunity for clients to make transports to Vilnius and port of Klaipeda (by rail) as well as other Baltic countries.
Pruszkow “Metrans Terminal” is situated close to Polish capital Warsaw and it is part of the European transport corridor linking countries from Finland to Italy by rail.
Kaunas-Pruszkow-Sławków route is 740 km long with a freight capacity of up to 93 TEUs (twenty-foot equivalent unit) per journey.
